Supporting SEND Parents With Strategy, Structure and Experience
One parent, with years of experience, shared to reduce stress and support other families.

I’ve seen other parents reach the end of the school year, thank the people who helped, and finally close that chapter.
And I completely understand why. After the meetings, the battles, the exhaustion - moving on into adulthood can feel like relief.
But I can’t just walk away.

Turning experience into something useful for others
I can’t walk away - not because I want to stay in the past, but because I need to turn what we’ve lived through into something good.
This page supports parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including autism (ASC / ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, PDA, sensory processing differences, dyslexia, dyspraxia, school trauma, EBSA, and related mental health challenges.
The content focuses on navigating education systems, EHCP processes, school attendance difficulties, exclusions, reasonable adjustments, and practical day-to-day support for families in the UK.

Supporting other parents feels like the only way to make sense of it all.
I spent over 25 years designing and delivering training for businesses, teams and individuals around the world.
I used that knowledge to support my children’s development, and to communicate and organise myself when facing everything else - not perfectly, but practically.
Like so many other parents, I attended “parent” courses. I didn’t always find them helpful or useful.
That combination - lived experience and practical problem-solving - is what I now share to support SEND parents and family members who can often feel isolated, overwhelmed and under pressure.

No spam. Just real updates, shared guidance, announcements of the planned lessons, and live sessions designed to make things a little easier.
The key to any form of success as a SEND parent is to try and keep trying - We never give up.
You can unsubscribe anytime - every family’s journey is different, and if what I share doesn't work for your journey, that’s okay.
How I plan to support other parents
My journey is still ongoing, so I’m realistic about what I can offer.
What I hope to bring through online training and live workshops is ways to find clarity and structure, using practical and genuinely useful tools, techniques and tips - from one parent to another.
1 - Pre-recorded lessons & workbooks
Short, focused lessons with supporting workbooks, designed to be used when you need them - not when a session happens to be scheduled.
You can pause, rewind, revisit, or skip what isn’t relevant, and return to the right information as situations change. No pressure, no overload - just practical support that fits around real life.

3 - Practical tools
Practical tools and examples that help reduce the mental load - from drafting emails and organising information, to preparing forms and reviewing reports.
I’ve been using AI tools since 2022 and share what has actually helped me, without jargon or over-complication.
