For over 25 years, I’ve worked as a business consultant and created training programmes that build people’s skills and confidence — because I believe in a simple truth:
Develop the people, grow the business.
Then life changed.
As a parent to two neurodivergent young people, I began applying everything I knew about development and learning to support their abilities while navigating the complexity of the UK SEND system.
I kept the same principles in parenting: develop skills, grow abilities.
This includes lived experience of autism (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, Tourette syndrome, ARFID, sensory processing differences, learning differences (including dyslexia and dyspraxia), chronic health conditions, and trauma-related burnout.
Whilst my children step into adulthood, I can’t simply walk away from the SEND community — not with so much lived experience and professional knowledge to share.
While my experience is rooted in the UK SEND system, the challenges families face when navigating education, health, and complex processes are shared by parents everywhere.
Today, I split my time between supporting small business owners and helping parents strengthen the skills that make life a little easier.
Through practical tools and the smart use of AI, my goal is to make things faster, fairer, and more manageable for families and businesses alike.
